St. Joseph Parks and Recreation Department
The St. Joseph Parks & Recreation Department strives to provide a variety of experiences and enhance the quality of life. The park system, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is comprised of approximately 1,500 acres, 26 miles of parkways and boulevards, containing 48 parks and related facilities, such as Bode Ice Arena, Fairview Municipal Golf Course, the REC Center, aquatic facilities, and the Joyce Raye Patterson 50+ Activity Center.
