JOSEPH, Mo. (KQTV) &#8212; The Double-Decker Bridge on Interstate 229, along the west side of St. Joseph, is now open after being closed for almost a week. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Missouri Department of Transportation reopened the bridge and all ramps between U.S. Route 36 and Highland Avenue Wednesday afternoon. The bridge was closed for maintenance and a biannual inspection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The bridge was reopened early due to the weather. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MoDOT said crews plan to return Oct. 12-16 to complete inspection of the on- and off-ramps.
