Atchison County Sheriff’s Office arrests Fairfax man

ATCHISON COUNTY, Mo. (KQTV)–According to a Atchison County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, the sheriff’s office has arrested a Fairfax, Missouri man on Tuesday on charges relating to the grooming of a minor.

According to the post, officers were referred information on a case by the Northwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force.

After investigating, a search warrant and a probable cause statement were submitted to the Atchison County Prosecutor’s Office, which resulted in an arrest warrant for William “Billy” Miller.

Officers arrested Miller on the charges of grooming or enticement of a minor and furnishing pornographic material to a minor.

According to the post, Miller was taken into custody without incident and is being held without bond.

The investigation is still ongoing.
