Kansas City Royals end season with home win over Cleveland

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KQTV) – It was another season of disappointment for the Kansas City Royals but at least the team was able to finish the season with a win on Sunday with a 3-2 home victory over the playoff bound Cleveland Guardians.

Vinnie Pasquantino’s home run out to right field in the 8th inning was the difference. Pasquantino hit 2 homers on Sunday, including a 434 footer in the 5th inning. He finished 2-for-4 with 2 RBI. Salvador Perez finished 1-for-3 with 1 RBI.

The Royals finish the year with 69 wins and 93 defeats.
